The nursery children were so excited to host a visit from their friends at Bush N.U today and to take part in a drumming session with Joe from The Gathering Drum. The class split into 2 groups and 1/2 stayed and played with their friends while 1/2 went over to the main school to play some drums & then they swapped over. The Windmill children enjoyed showing their friends their playground and classroom and having snack together in the classroom. They loved making lots of noise with the African drums and enjoyed taking part in familiar stories and songs e.g. 'We're going on a bear hunt' & 'Little Rabbit Foo Foo'.
A massive thanks to those parents who came along today to join in our session.
