Roisin is using an app to identify physical appearance of a person
Some visually impaired people used books written in braille.
Some visually impaired people use books with very large print.
Demonstrating the technique.

a pupil using a stick. One must hold the stick out in front and swing it carefully from side to side to see if there are any obstacles in front of him/her.
level monitor
a pupil using a level monitor to ensure she doesn't pour too much water into her glass. The gadget will beep when the glass is full.
