Windmill have just begun new 2 year KA2 Erasmus Plus project called 'European New Generation' with preschools in Turkey, Croatia, Denmark, Greece & Finland. This project will be looking an innovative ways to teach and learn maths & science.
Mrs Nugent, our Maths Coordinator, Mrs Donnelly, our ICT Technician and Mrs Corr, our Head of Nursery & International Projects Coordinator flew to Istanbul yesterday en route to Izmir. Unexpectedly they ended up spending the night in Istanbul because of fog in Izmir and only arrived there today (Monday 10th December). They met up with the other partners and had a great afternoon making a lamp out of a hollowed out gourd. They have some seeds to bring back to Windmill to see if we can grow some & try this fun activity back home.
