My Farewell
17th Jun 2025
The time has come to move out of my second home- and after spending 36 years in nursery I have realised that no two days are the same, one day I could be a fairy in a tutu and the next day a dragon. Oh to be three years old again!
Windmill has taught me to accept things as they are and to have fun no matter the weather.
I have been honoured to work with so many staff, parents and pupils and while I may have been part of their journey they have been an even bigger part of mine.
But my journey doesn't stop at Windmill as I am looking forward to becoming a "proper granny" to my two new grandchildren Hallie and Seth.
Thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart. It has been a pleasure. Beverley Somerville
