Nursery visits Nightingale Nursing Home.

The nursery class were very excited to go for a walk up to the local nursing home today to make bird feeders with the residents. They were all very good at listening to the grown ups & staying safe on the walk up & down, we saw some cows out for a walk in the field too. 

Sophie & Laura showed the children how to put string on a pine cone & then put peanut butter all over the pine cone before rolling it in some seeds for the birds. Everyone got to take one home for their garden. 

A huge thanks to those family members who came along to help out. And a big well done to the children for bringing so well behaved on this trip.
