Science experiments in P6

This term P6 children enjoyed a science experiment linked to our topic of Vikings. Children had to work in groups and were set a challenge. They had to design a way of loading a boat with marbles while keeping it afloat. The 'boat' was a plastic container and children were given blue tac, card and a selection of marbles of various sizes. Children were able to plan, make predictions and problem solve. We all really enjoyed this activity and learnt lots!
