Trip to Parkanaur

Thanks to PACT funding, P2LC is paired with St Mary's, Cabragh this year. We had a lovely day out on Friday 11th March to Parkanaur. Speedwell provided a 'Gruffalo Trail' programme for us. We began the day with a meet and greet, during which the children had the chance to make new friends.

After an interesting chat about forest animals, the hunt for the Gruffalo began by reminding the children of the story. They had to follow clues, perform challenges and work in teams in order to track down the elusive beast! We finally caught sight of him napping in his cave and had to tip-toe past. Thankfully none of the children were eaten!!

The day ended with a game of forest animal bingo and Gruffalo-themed structured play. We were all suitably exhausted!
