The nursery children were delighted to be invited up to play in the nursing home today. We left some toys up in the home for the children to enjoy when they visit - we are hoping to go up at least once a month.
The children were brilliant crossing the road, walking up the hill and staying on the footpath on the walk up to the home. When they arrived they just starting playing with the train track, books and some balls that the home provided. They had fun interacting with some of the residents and looking at some of the games they have to play with.
A huge thanks to all the parents who came along today to help on the walk up and down & to the residents of the home for making everyone so welcome.
After walking back down, everyone was very hungry and ate up all their dinner.
