The 2 nursery classes from Windmill & Bush met up for the fist time at Sperrinview's wonderful sensory garden as part of the whole school Shared Education project. The classes had exchanged photos beforehand so some children had recognised some of their friends from outside school.
It was a very wet and cold day but the children enjoyed having snack together before heading off to explore the large playground. We were very lucky to have 2 of the visiting Swedish teachers, Jenny & Sofie come along to. They had fun on all the fixed equipment before moving on to enjoy climbing up & rolling down the steep hill, wading in the river & playing in the leaves. The 2 classes can't wait to meet up again soon at Bush to work with a professional artist in February.
Well done to all the children for being so well behaved on the bus & during the trip & a big thanks to Jo & Christine for helping out.
