Windmill's Purple for Polio initiative with The Rotary Club of Dungannon.

Windmill Integrated Primary School, Dungannon are taking part in the Purple for Polio initiative in conjunction with The Rotary Club of Dungannon. Rotary International has vaccinated children in 122 countries of the world and thereby has eradicated 99.9% of polio. However, there still remains three countries with polio. These are Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria. There is a concentrated effort to get into these countries and complete the task.

Pupils at Windmill are having a non-uniform day in November when they will each bring £1. This £1 will provide three children with vaccinations against polio.
