Once again Windmill has been so fortunate to receive an art bursary from the Play Resource in Belfast. their Creative Paths award offered chances for schools to engage professional artists to work with pupils to create permanent pieces of art. We have lots of great pieces dotted around the school and nursery that have beeb created using this bursary.
Last week Shauna McCann worked with the nursery children to make some lovely clay displays for the classroom and main school - number, colours and shapes represented in clay. The children really enjoyed working with Shauna and exploring how the clay worked. They look forward to painting the pieces later before they are displayed in the classroom & school.
